Skogsstjärnan and Kvisslingby group home in Åkersberga is now looking for part-time and summer substitutes. The group home accommodates individuals with disabilities such as autism and developmental disorders.

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, aiming to promote their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support the users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a rehabilitative and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for the users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal responses to create safety and predictability in the users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the operations.

• Very good ability in Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Good computer skills, experience with documentation.

• Experience in healthcare and social care.

• Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.

• Upper secondary education such as child and leisure program, healthcare and social care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.

• Experience working with target group 1 under LSS.

• Experience with complex support needs.

• Flexibility and a genuine interest in cooking.

• Drive and the ability to work solution-oriented.

• Ability to identify needs and create meaningful activities both in everyday life and during leisure time.

• Engagement in making everyday life stimulating and rewarding for the residents.

Employment conditions

Employment type: Part-time substitute. Working hours: According to agreement. Work schedule: Rolling schedule, day, evening, and weekend. Start date: According to agreement, we view positively if you can start soon. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
