Skogsstjärnan and Kvisslingby group home in Åkersberga is now looking for part-time and summer substitutes. The group home accommodates individuals with disabilities such as autism and developmental disorders.

About the role of Support AssistantAs a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, aiming to promote their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support the users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.
We work with a rehabilitative and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for the users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal responses to create safety and predictability in the users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the operations.
QualificationsVery good ability in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
Experience in healthcare and social care.
Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.
Upper secondary education such as child and leisure program, healthcare and social care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.
Experience working with target group 1 under LSS.
Experience with complex support needs.
Flexibility and a genuine interest in cooking.
Drive and the ability to work solution-oriented.
Ability to identify needs and create meaningful activities both in everyday life and during leisure time.
Engagement in making everyday life stimulating and rewarding for the residents.
Employment conditions
Employment type: Part-time substitute. Working hours: According to agreement. Work schedule: Rolling schedule, day, evening, and weekend. Start date: According to agreement, we view positively if you can start soon. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
